I installed the lastest beta driver and found that it installs software that monitors your games and loads multible copies of its self simlar to a virus.

I would just like to say that this move by amd will count against them when i decide to buy my next gpu.

Didn't like it either, so...removed it.  Nothing to get TOO worked up about, it IS 2013 Internet, after all!

don't think it is right to have to remove spyware from your computer after installing a driver.

If you install stuff like that you must have tons of it on your computer. All free software come with lots of spyware these days. I wonder how many toolbars you have already...

Don't misunderstand me, I don't like it either. Still, it's something eveyone else does, and only people who can't read or are lazy fall ito this trap. I guess both groups deserve it.

Use advanced install and you'll be good to go. And if you want to buy a card from the competitor next time, no one will stop you. However, keep in mind that the next generation consoles will be built of AMD hardware and games will be optimized for AMD GPUs. Only the Steambox might be an exception, though I suspect we'll see them with the GPUs of both companies.

It's not anymore of a malware program than Steam or Origin yet people tolerate them (I don't.) Raptr is a PuP (Potentially Unwanted Program,) not malware.

I remember it does actually have a big warning text on the screen where you choose between advanced and express.

Unfortunately I only found a small image but it's still visible:

So this is indeed the case when the user just clicks next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next next without thinking.

It's not spyware, learn the difference between spyware, adware, malware, scareware, and PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs.) And again, YOU CHOSE TO INSTALL IT.

Nvidia adds Shadowplay game recording to GeForce Experience

""We don't yet know how well this feature will work on next gen consoles, but PC gamers got a taste of a similar feature yesterday when Nvidia released the latest version of its "Geforce Experience" app. Until yesterday Geforce Experience (which as the name implies, only works on systems with Nvidia Geforce video cards) was a way to keep your video drivers up-to-date and to optimize graphics settings in your game.""

Using Origin and Steam gives them tons of information about your system, etc, too.

Dear NSA, I stand behind everything I've said about the guys on this forum AND you-know-who!

spyware is software that monitors you compter this does and is caple of monitoring your process and keystrokes and sending them elsewhere.

I woudl normally check every page when installing software but i aleast expected something i already paid £300 for to be ad free.

Wow...  I don't think I have EVER "Express" installed anything.  Anyone who does deserves to get burned.  You should ALWAYS go through EVERYTHING that ANY software wants to install on your system.
