At first BF4 was a no go while having 13.9 drivers installed. Great that 13.11b8 was my saviour but when Ghost came out it demoted to my worst enemy.

While having these beta drivers installed, Ghost freezes and at the end I get a Windows error message stating that there is no memory left to operate correctly (7GB is fully taken by Ghost leaving 1GB left for all other things) , a reboot is needed to get things running again.

BF4 + 13.9 = Big middlefinger
BF4 + 13.11b8 = Happy gaming
Ghost + 13.9 = Happy gaming
Ghost + 13.11b8 = Mem Leaking till system tells me that it's totally crippled

Leaves me pretty darn frustrated. Just ordered 2 290's for CF knowing that I cannot play a game before changing to the correct driver version and giving me BS results while using CF.

I'm a bit sad about this and I really hope that there will be a fix soon to squashy-bam both issues.

Specs: i7 3960x, Asus R4E, 8GB RAM (32GB is RMAd), couple of SSDs and a 6990 that is going to a nice and cosy resting place tomorrow, giving birth to a twin named R9 290.

Since when have Activision and EA become saints? I'm asking this because you say driver hell. The games don't work well on nvidia cards either.

So either both AMD and nvidia are totally incapable of producing drivers at the exact time the games were released, or there is a possibility that we see the usual rushing out 1 COD/year and 1 BF/year and the games are rushed out half-assed in an alpha stage as usual.

Think about it.

You know, it's weird...When Microsoft released Windows Vista, which is a great successor to Windows XP, it was the OEMs putting it on machines with 256-512MB of RAM and 1.8ghz single core CPUs which caused the problem, yet people blamed Microsoft for their performance issues. When a came like CoD Ghosts or pretty much any game these days is released which has issues caused by sloppy coding and a rushed release to cash in on the hype, it's AMD and nVidia, not the game developers, who get blamed for it...I sense a good Masters thesis in that.
