I am currently running 2x 7970's with 13.11B8 Drivers for BF4. Win7x64 with all the latest updates, Gigabyte Z77x UD3H, Intel 3570, 32GB ram, 850 watt PSU. I have 3 Dell 1908FP 1280x1024 monitors in eyefinity on at this time.

The last few driver versions I have noticed my machine will sometimes chug and slow down. These corisponed closely to even log spam. I thought this was being caused by MSI Afterburner because many of them only show up when using AB but the developer beleives it is a CCC issue. The thread can be found here: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=4700769#post4700769

I get a lot of Event Log spam in the Applications and Services Logs > ACEEventLog section. By spam I mean updates from several a second to every couple seconds, seems to cap out at around 700-800 events and deletes the old ones. The errors show up whether CF is enabled or disabled.

Here are some of the messages in the event log:

Yup...those messages sure do look familiar. I've gotten those exact same messages constantly across multiple driver versions, and even across multiple system builds. I saw them with my 4870x2, my 6970, and now with my 7950.

It's not a problem with Afterburner (I started seeing this log spam long before I started using it)...it's an AMD problem that they really need to fix.

I usually see a flood of 100+ ACE Event Log entries at system start-up, when transitioning from a full screen application (like a game) back to the desktop or vice-versa, and whenever I open the CCC.

I've never seen the MaxFanSpeed/GetTargetTemperature/FuzzyCaps ones--that might have to do with something you've done with Afterburner, actually. (Are you overclocking? I only use AB for a custom fan speed profile.) The rest I see all the time, though.
