I'm experiencing one of the common driver issues listed in the sticky (my install completes fine, but only installs Catalyst Control Center and Audio Drivers, but will not update my display drivers) and the steps for Windows 7 users is to first use the AMD Uninstall Utility to to perform a thorough uninstall.

The link provided is asking me for a username and password, and my forum username and password are not acceptable.  What should I be doing?

I'm using an AMD Radeon HD-7450 on 64-bit Windows 7, and can provide all the other information requested in the stickied form if necessary, but as this was one of the "common issues", I figured I'd just ask about the link first.

I thought the DDu thing was nvidia only, since I saw the first link for it on the nvidia forums. I am glad I saw this, and will use it in the future for amd too.

Don't use cleaners unless you have no other choice. They can kill your system.

Thanks for the help!  But clicking on any of the links that I've tried to download this utility brings me to the AMD page that says the download could not complete because I was linked from a site outside AMD.  I did try another driver cleaner previously, but it definitely caused more issues and didn't fix the original problem, so I did a system restore.  I can try it if nothing else works, but I definitely also consider 3rd party wipe software to be a last result.

Since my problem is such a common issue, I was hoping that I could follow the standard reccommended solution, if there is one.  Is that an alternate way to download the AMD Uninstall Utility, or is there a new suggestion since it came down?

Then you apparently didn't download it from the Softpedia I posted. Choose Softpedia, not external.
