So it seems no one can assist with this and it is a common issue?

I have emailed (via the website) this into AMD directly and recieved nothing back at all on even the acknowledgment that they recieved it.

Start your own thread. You have nothing similar to what the OP posted. You have a non-supported card in a non supported OS. If you want to play, get the right equipment. And all of you with 2xxx,3xxx, and 4xxx cards need to read what this forum section is for...read it "FOR HD5000 SERIES CARDS AND ABOVE". Get your self to the correct forum and post your questions there...That would the the "EXTENDED SUPPORT" forum.

I already tried to remove the driver with a driver sweeper

When you say you tried to remove the driver with "A" driver sweeper you give every one the same thought...WHICH driver sweeper?! If you used a old version of 'Driver Sweeper" ,like the one Guru3D still has on their site, then reformat your computer if you can't use a system restore point. Otherwise, there is a FAQ section of the forum. It has some good information...one of which is how to uninstall/install new drivers.

Stumped- Incorrect it IS the same problem and there is no header that delineates this being for any specific hardware version/OS requirement. The header is: AMD Support and Game» Desktop Catalyst Drivers and Software» fail to install catalyst control center which IS my issue. The driver DOES install hence I get to read your fantastic & helpful reply. HAVE A GREAT DAY...
