I'm attempting to connect my AMD Radeon HD 7850 to an LED wall via the wall's controller card which receives a DVI-D connection. Regardless of which port I connect the wall to on my card (DVI, HDMI, DP with passive DVI connector), the display doesn't show up in the Catalyst displays window even when I manually push the Detect Displays button.
The Windows however, DOES know that the device is there and if I look at my Display Devices in the device manager (or using the MonitorInfoView tool) I can see that the device shows up and shows that it supports the correct 640x480@60Hz and that its no longer connected.
Is there a way to force the device to show up in Catalyst?
I can connect successfully to the wall with my Mac Book Pro using the same DP-DVI adpater using the default OSX display driver for its Radeon HD 6750M
