I installed a 6450 yesterday and plugged my projector in via HDMI. There's a big 4 inch slanted gap on the right side that I can't fix with overscan. Moving the overscan slider far enough to cover it means I lose big chunks of the other sides of the desktop and video.

The projector is aligned perfectly, the only input I have a problem with is the video card (xbox, wd tv live, Dish, uverse, all are perfectly aligned). It looks like ATI removed the ability to adjust screen position. You used to be able to grab the screen and move it in CCC. Is that gone? Why? How do I fix this problem?

That's for VGA (D-SUB) only.

So is there any way to fix this? 3rd party tools? I can't stand watching movies on this since I either have an uneven 4 inch gap on the right side or I have to zoom in with overscan so much that it cuts off parts of the film.

So no way to fix this at all? Does nVidia let you fix scrren position on HDMI connected devices? This card is useless to me as is.

If you change the overscan settings, and the edge of the picture starts to disappear, the only thing left is the distance from the wall. Otherwise you'd break the law of conservation of energy. The video card can only change the picture inside the area your projector can reach. Same as you can't adjust the picture on a monitor to come out of the box and float in the air. If physics is garbage in your opinion, go talk to god or darwin or whatever you believe in.
