It depends on what driver version you had installed on your system previously. For instance, the last drivers I had installed were 13.9 WHQL, which is what CCC and MSI Afterburner both say I still have now. Other users who were on the 13.11 betas have 13.12 reporting as 13.11, etc.

can this affect the performance?

No. It's a simple cosmetic-level bug. If you want to fix it you can do so in the registry, or just live with it. Steps to fix it are in ATInerb1's post in this thread: http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=454&threadid=170235&STARTPAGE=1&FTVAR_FORUMVIEWTMP=Linear

If you're not comfortable editing the registry, just leave it be. It won't hurt anything.

WIth latest driver BSOD no longer occurs, but instead, after driver resets the memory clock is stuck at 150. (note this happened after about 20 hours installation in-game. - possibly triggered by flash)

I dont have HW accel activated, but even if I did.. does AMD want users to disable HW accel Flash so they don't get BSODS and stuck memory clocks?

I have the same problem!!
I have Windows 7 64Bit, the previous driver was 13.9.
I uninstall, clean the system and install the 13.12 but the catalyst suite show that the version is 13.9... is this a Bug ??

You can fix this via windows regedit.exe

Type regedit in windows search box (from start button) & click Enter

Click on computer in the new windows that appears & press Ctrl F (search function)

Type Catalyst_Version & press Enter  , depending on the speed of your machine it can take 2-3 minutes if it's a slow machine (don't worry).

Your first listing will appear with the Catalyst _Version it thinks you have (mine was 11.5 yesterday).

Right click & choose Modify

Enter 13.12 & press Enter

Press F3 (find's the next entry)

You will need to repeat this step (F3 & Modify) several times (8 times in my case) until you run out of listing's.

Do Not edit anything else in the registry unless you know what you are doing (you'll break windows).

When you have found every entry with the incorrect Catalyst_Version close regedit & restart your computer.

Pics of Regedit & After reboot included.

A shoutout to my brother for the tutorial

Very good ...and kudos to your brother

well, it was good till it lasted. WHQL broken. Tried running 2 games at the same time with a stream, and it crashes my system.

reverted to the MSI driver. (

a cool thing to notice, when overclocking with latest driver, no screen glitch appears, its seemsless. when OC with older driver, theres a glitch/tear

I guess i'll stop roaming this forum and go and pray to the manufacturer to work on their products.

peace !

Hmmm...the new drivers seem to work well on modern hardware.
