Right click on desktop -> screen resolution -> advanced -> monitor -> untick hide unsupported modes.
If that does not work, a 4850 should work with ATT, in which you can select <whateverdisplayyouhave> supports all modes in advanced tweaks.
Or just revert back what worked for you. I bet you're not using it for gaming.
