I just can't seem to make this "thing" work. No matter what playback software I'm using, hardware acceleration causes green screen. And, as a matter of fact, it doesn't matter what filters I'm using too. I have tried with LAV, ffdshow, internal codecs and I get the same result: green screen.

The audio plays just fine, but hardware acceleration is a no go.

Card: ATI Radeon HD 4800.

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.

DirectX used: 2010june redistributable.

Please help me. Thank you!

Try different drivers versions, try reinstalling the OS etc. I remember being able to play hardware accelerated videos with my old 4850, so it's definitely not the card, unless it's faulty.

I have tried several versions of drivers and there's no change. Also, I have reinstalled my OS.
