My Setup:
Windows 7 64bit
890GX Extreme 3 incl. HD4290 (onboard)
HD5770

After the newest Catalyst-Driver update, the onboard HD4290 is not working anymore.

If i am deleting all Catalyst-stuff, the normal Windows driver allow that both graphic cards are working.

Is there some work arround or direct solution?

It has been working smoothly beforehand, but i need the new drivers for gaming.

To be a bit more precise, the system detects both cards, but the HD4290 shows the error:

"Dieses Gerät wurde angehalten, weil es Fehler gemeldet hat. (Code 43)"

meaning 'This device has been stopped, because it has send and error'.

The newest drivers do not support that very old IGP. Either use a 2 year old driver set, or disable the 4290 and run just the HD 5570.

Thank you for the information! May you tell me what is the last driver set, which is compatible with my setup? Or, how can i check that?

I miss my third monitor.

If that 5770 has DisplayPort, which most do, then a simple $20 active DisplayPort to DVI adapter can be used to drive your third monitor.
