I was really excited when I bought my XFX R9 280X and found out I could use mantle.

Then the day arrived that mantle 14.1 beta driver released. My BF4 is not playable with mantle... lol... Stutters to death, like 10fps (if stuttering counted as FPS) BUT besides mantle, the driver is crashing my PC completely (desktop fullscreen artifacting followed by system crash)

Testing in 2 systems [1] Intel cpu based, [2] Amd cpu based

I had the same and got a replacement card from the shop

The first card i could not even game for 15 minute, it ended in screen crap and often a BSOD

The second card i received is having less dramatic issues but still very annoying

When i start for instance world of tanks i get flashing screen and artifacts all over the screen, however this far the system dd not crash.

Since i run most games windowed ( huge screen ) i noticed that it only happens in the window showing the games

( Running the 14.1 beta 1.6 )

I haven't received a 0xa0000001, but I got a 0x0000007E about an hour ago.

Computer specs:

Intel Core I5-3570K @ stock settings

MSI Z77A-GD55

16 GB RAM

2 x MSI Radeon HD 7770 2PMD1GD5/OC @ stock settings

Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Running Catalyst 14.1 Beta

I do realize the drivers are beta, and I disabled the CPU overclock I was running to make sure it didn't cause any problems.

I'm having a similar issue.

I'm BSODing whenever I'm watching video in Firefox. Oddly, when I can crank my GPU at 100% for ten hours straight during a render in Blender 3D and it is completely stable, but the instant I play a video on Vimeo, I'm at risk.
