Hello,

I wonder if there's a way to download older versions of the Catalyst software directly from AMD's website? When I search on Google I find this page:

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/previous?os=Linux+x86

But when I click one of the versions (in my case, I need version 13.4), I get to a page with no download links. I have tried on three different computers (XP / Vista / Windows 7) and none will let me actually download anything. Does this page work for anyone? If not, where on AMD's site can I find a download of version 13.4? I have found it on 3rd party sites but I prefer to get it from AMD directly.

I can't download anything on that page. When I click one of those versions listed, I am taken to a page that says "AMD Catalyst Control Center requires Microsoft .NET4 Framework. Windows Vista and Windows 7 users may need to install the Microsoft .NET4 Framework as a prerequisite to use Catalyst Control Center.".

I already have the Microsoft .NET4 Framework installed. To be absolutely on the safe side, I redownloaded it and installed it again, still same result. I have tried on all my three PC's, one has XP, one has Vista and one has Windows 7, same result on all three.

Are you able to download the file off that page? Could you download it and e-mail it to me or perhaps reupload to a free filehost site? That way I know you got it directly off AMD's site.

Go to Windows Update. Install the 'suggested updates". Then try again.

I ran Windows Update and I was up to date for the most part (found 1 update only which I installed), the problem with the AMD download page still remains however. Take a look yourself, this is what I get on all three of my computers when I attempt to download any of the old versions from that page:

Please help me get this file somehow. :-(

It's not the page asking for .NET 4, it's only an information shown that Catalyst requires it. The download should be under it, however, it is missing. It's the page being broken, not your fault. Stumped didn't check it before linking. You need to get your file from a 3rd party site, amd.com went haywire since it was updated to the new design.

Eydee: Thank you for replying! Too bad it's not possible to get it off that page then, but I'll just have to get it from another site. Thanks for the explanation and confirming that the page is actually broke and not due to my computer.

No I did check the link...it works. I even put a link to the 13.4 drivers from that link. Here is a third party site

Maybe it's a geographical thing then. It works in some parts of the world and doesn't elsewhere. I tried different browsers, all with the same error the OP has.

Any chance there's a link for the previous Catalyst for 64 bit versions?

Yes Right here  On the AMD site, some of the drivers are for 32 bit and some are for 64 bit...strange. I use Guru 3D.

AMD dont want you to get the old drivers without the forced PowerPlay powersaver...

13.1 drivers are the oldest ones I can download from win 7 64-bit, all the other ones says:

"A

MD Catalyst Control Center requires Microsoft .NET4 Framework. Windows Vista and Windows 7 users may need to install the Microsoft .NET4 Framework as a prerequisite to use Catalyst Control Center"

12.1 drivers are the oldest ones I can download for win 7 32-bit.-.-

Have been following this post, and "stumped"links both worked(Australia).

Using IE11.

p.s. If you click "more info... on the page it will take you to .net 4

Also seems .net 4 has been replaced by 4.5/4.5.1(for win 7/8/8.1)

Seems to read that you need 4.5 (4.5.1) now for amd driver update.

I'm in eastern europe and the page is empty with both Firefox 27.0.1 and IE11.

Hi again everyone,

I'm back. Since some of you actually can access the downloads, can someone please download the 13.4 drivers for me and upload the file to zippyshare.com or any other free filehosting site? I'd rather get them that way than from 3dguru, someone please help me out.

Have you tried the "AMD Worldwide" link(top right side of this forum),choose area>drivers & support> drivers for your system, then on far right is link to previous drivers.

goodplay: I tried it just now, and I get the same results there. I can't figure this out, it must be a regional thing. I wrote the AMD support and they sent me a link but it tried to download a driver for Linux and not XP 32.
