Hi, Catalyst Control Center  didn't launch after installation. I already did the same steps as described under **STICKY** | Troubleshooting Common AMD Catalyst Driver Install Issues. The only thing I hadn't done was uninstalling/removing public key token "90ba9c70f846762e" because this public token key is not available at my system (use GACUTIL.EXE because of .NET 4.5 view of public token key in windows explorer not available anymore)

Graphic card Asus R9 290X.

Windows 7 64 bit

.Net 4.5

CCC version 13.251

Remark: After installation and rebooting my system the CCC started but with the next rebooting again the CCC didn't start (no changes between this two restarts of my PC)

I search the whole internet already but I haven't found any solution which solves my problem . I already spent more than 1 day but no success. Now I'm very frustrated because I have no idea what I can do to solve this problem. Hopefully someone in this forum will help me to solve my problem

Kind regards

Ralf

Download this version of Driver Sweeper (3.2.0). Do not choose "a newer version is available". Uninstall the AMD software using your computer 'uninstall a program' in control panel...find AMD installer and express uninstall all AMD software including the installer.  Reboot into Safe mode. Run Driver Sweeper by selecting AMD graphics ...analyise, then delete all it finds. (be patient, it takes a few minutes). Reboot. Install these drivers.

edit: this is assuming you have a Intel OS.

Hi I had a look at the event log. I found this error message. It seemed to be that CCC installer was not able to create the public key token
