Do you have a WHQL fetish?

Three good reasons: WHQL Certification costs $250 per OS, it takes 1-2 weeks (sometimes longer), and there isn't much, if any, difference between a "beta" and "WHQL Certified" driver besides that Microsoft signature.

Bottom line it saves them a buck and it gives them a good excuse to release unfinished drivers. Hence the word "Beta"

Drivers are never a finished, polished product, as there is always room for improvement and always buggy games to fix. The only difference between an "unfinished" driver and a "finished" driver is Microsoft's signature.

With all the R series sopposed problems,and a couple of new release games(which probably should be called beta).,i doubt a WHQL will be out soon.

I don't recall seeing so much drama with 6xxx/7xxx series.

But,then,i won't throw a top line card in an old system.

p.s. Off topic:-i see -rascal- back recently.

Hi aweryone. I`ve got the problem with my AMD Radeon HD 8690A on Win764. I can`t find any driver for it. The native drivers from dell support only win8. Please help me to find a proper driver. DELL Inspiron 2350 All in One. Thanks

Waiting on them to make the drivers stable on my mobo(M5A78L-M/USB3) with a R9 290.

Wanted a microATX computer as I live in a condo and don't want a huge tower.  Went with AMD components as I'm pretty heavily invested in that company.  I took a chance on them when they fell below $3 a share.

So far I'm having the worst experience.  Drivers continue to crash and restarts my PC.  I have replaced most of the components PSU, GPU, CPU, RAM, Mobo.  Still the same issues.   And it's not like I'm a computer tool, I have 2 Computer Science/Engeneering related degrees.   Found out that others on this forum are having the exact same issue with a very similar setup.

I don't think it's asking for that much to have stable drivers that don't crash when you're opening up a browser.   And as already mentioned I'm not the only one experiencing this: http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=454&threadid=170167&enterthread=y

Kubus...You have an APU?  No descriptions given.  Motherboard has an integrated gpu.  You are using a powerful discrete gpu.  Have you tried disabling 2 out of the 3 in your troubleshooting efforts?

Heat = crashes.

Always good to do if you have not already...Read TFM.
