I'm having a problem with my sapphire 6950 1gb dirt3 edition. i'm currently using the card in my fx 6300 and 990fxa-ud3 with windows 7 x64. My fresh installed windows 7 starting to act weird. My windows explorer (explorer.exe) sometimes unresponsive (my mouse and keyboard has response like alt-tab but the window is not switching and the ctrl+alt+del has no response. My current programs running are firefox, windows explorer and winamp). I'm not having any pop up error and nothing in my event viewer. Its just not responding and after 20-30secs waiting it is okey. My rams are okey dual and single channel are passmark memtest passed. I'm suspecting also my hard disk but my hard disk is 100% healthy. I'm not yet trying to downgrade my driver. Somebody have this problem? I hope this is a driver issue i love my card

My last experience of this was playing dota 1 warcraft iii garena. Altab fail and ctrl alt del fail. 20-30 secs wait okey but my sounds or music still continue in playing.

Take note

*newly installed windows 7 with drivers (chipset, sounds, usb 3.0, catalyst)

*i'm in ide (ide, ahci or raid)

*if the problem is winamp why it is not bothering me on my last setup?

Thanks and Godbless all

Fresh install: .NET assemblies compiling in the background, indexing service running in the backgound, offline files, scheduled first-time maintenance, reboot manager, superfetch etc. The OS works hard in the first few days (weeks) to optimize itself. Give it time, the problem is not a real problem and has nothing to do with the video card.

To help the system to get into shape, let it run overnight and it will do its task if it's not bothered.
