I am working on a dell optiplex 3010 minitower. We installed a amd radeon 7000 series graphics card. The card works fine using one monitor. But, when I try to install a second monitor using the integrated vga port it doesn't do anything. When I try using the hdmi port with a hdmi to dvi adapter, it halts startup and wont do anything until I have removed the connection and restart. The monitors I am using are dell 1908wpf. I have the most current driver from amd. I believe it is a conflict between the two graphics cards, but I don't know how to fix it.

What is the other one? You're only talking about a 7k series card. Which -- by the way -- should be able to drive 6 monitors by itself, so why do you need 2 cards?

this is solved, this particular computer needed to have the bios set to allow multiple monitors. never ran into that before. also, the radeon card had two outputs, one was tiny and hidden behind the dvi port so I didn't see it. Thanks though.
