I have 1080p monitor (LG E2351VR) connected via DVI to GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7870 and I use GPU scaling. Installed Catalyst 14.04

I can not get 1400x1050 resolution, there are no in resolution list. Why? How can I add 1400x1050 resolution?

Forexample on old PC with 1680x1050 monitor connected via DVI to Radeon 5770 I was able to use 1400x1050 resolution.

ok, I solve it by myself

just go to regedit and add new binary value DALNonStandardModesBCD3

my example add 1440x1080 and 1400x1050 resolutions:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0001]

"DALNonStandardModesBCD3"=hex:14,40,10,80,00,00,00,00,14,00,10,50,00,00,00,00

your registry device path you can find in catalist CC - information - software - 2D Driver File Path
