Hi there.

I'm using an LG 27EA83-D with an AMD Radeon 7950 on Catalyst 14.6 Beta on Windows 8.1 Pro.

This monitor is 10-bit capable, yet I cannot seem to set the Catalyst Control Center to 10-bit over DisplayPort. It gives me only 6 and 8 bit options, but no 10bpc as I've seen on multiple driver screenshots from 4K monitors.

What must I do to make sure that 10bpc becomes available?

Thanks

- Ross

Test the Drivers 13.5 Beta 2 (The Best) Any say 13.9 others 13.12 and others 13.11 beta 4... And Never the Catalyst 14.1 in forward .... 14.2...14.3...14.4... and 14.6... Never) Drop Fps and problems and only support to the Series R7 and R9.

The best drivers for Catalyst is: 13.5 Beta 2, Good Luck for me work ultra fine.

From the little bit of research I did on this topic, it seems consumer cards only do 10-bit color over DVI, as bizarre as that sounds.

Keep in mind, of course, that even if you get it working, it won't be what you think.  Outside of a handful of apps like PhotoShop, everything will still be 8 bits per color.
