Thanks, i see it now.

I was kinda expecting a 2-3 page topic to be honest ........

I think it just shows that 14.4 is more friendly to oc, and that's probably because 14.6 beta1 and RC2 pushes more fps, more power....... more instability.

But it could be a driver issue too.

Why do i not have this issue then (unless i bump my gou 20mhz) ?

OK I got my new HIS R9 270 in and this one has Hynix ram instead of Elpida, And I also purchased a i5 3470 and new TZ77A motherboard, And I get the exact same results with 14.6 as I did with the old R9 270 with Elpida and the FX-8320, So It is the drivers! They are garbage. Sorry but it's the truth. AMD can't make drivers.

I will use this GPU untill I can sale my old motherboard and CPU, And then I am going with a GTX 760.  I will never buy AMD again. I have no idea how a company could go this long with this many problems and not even try to fix the issues with the drivers. Instead all you get is it's a bad GPU RMA it, or it could be a conflict with the CPU and mobo try another. BS! AMD I am done!

This is definitely not any kind of fauly gpu bug. this is a driver bug/regression pure and simple. I've got a 280x, I've done no overclocking at all. With 14.4 I get no artifacts in state of decay, with 14.6 beta and rc I get those specific stretched polygon artifacts (I also get them in SPINTIRES). Downgrading to 14.4 completely fixes the issue. this is a bug amd needs to fix.

Do you force aa outside the application's settings, like in CCC ?

That gives me artifacts in-game.

Another game where I get graphical glitches like shown in that steam forum thread, Football Manager 2014. The menus glitch out with 14.6, but not with 14.4. I finally got around to playing the game last night again, and realized the menus displayed properly.

Just played for 20 min the latest version of Football Manager 2014.

No glitches/ artifacts in game menus or during a 3d match.

CrossfireX is enabled, very high settings, 1080p.

Using the latest RC2 june23 driver.

EDIT:  60hz mode

Do you have gpu assisted menus?

Preferences->More interface options->Render Mode->GPU assisted

Yes, it is "GPU assisted (supports animations)".

Good observation by the way.

By "same" you mean a specific game, a specific gpu, a specific driver version, what ?

Please provide more feedback when posting so we can all benefit from it.

Thanks.

That's good news Ray. Hopefully, it can be fixed before the next driver update. I don't know if you saw it or not, but the same sort of issue is happening in Football Manager 2014 menus with the newer gen cards.

14.7RC did not fix the issue.
