I have a graphical glitch in the game "The lord of the Rings Online"
In some areas I have a blurry and flickering square in the top left corner. It about 500x500 pixels wide. It look a bit like a chess board.

I made two screenshots to show it.

I wonder if it has anything to do with raptr?

I didn't select raptr - I hate to be patronized which graphics quality setting I have to choose… I know which options I want to enable…  ;-)

So I didn't have installed it.

I've been having this exact same problem since day one of installing my 2 R7 270X's. It happens with any driver at any time randomly. On the desktop, using VLC, playing a game, surfing the web, etc. Mine will be a rectangular box with a checkered pattern (white & black) and will appear in random places. Like you I never installed any of those useless add-ons to CCC, e.g. transcoding, sdk, raptor and whatnot. I played a bit with X-fire disabled and it seeme to get rid of the problem but I didn't do it long because I want to actually use the cards I bought so I'm unsure if x-fire is the culprit. Hopefully it gets sorted out soon. I'ts already been 2 months since a driver update was released.

You can run synthetic benchmarks (like unigine valley/ heaven) or in-game benchmarks (like batman arkham origins) in crossfirex/ without crossfirex and test that theory.

Assuming you don't have artifacts because overheating problems (check with afterburner), that is. Is one card right on top of the other inside your pc (pcie slots too near to allow proper airflow) ?
