 Hello!

I installed the new version of the driver for my video card PowerColor HD7950 3GB GDDR5 BOOST STATE (V5) AX7950 3GBD5-2DHV5. Driver version 14.6-RC2 beta "amd-catalyst-14.6-rc2-windows-june23.exe", downloaded from official website. After that, in the game "Warface" appeared graphical artifacts - play almost impossible. With the previous version 14.6 beta driver "amd-catalyst-14.6-beta-v1.0-windows-may23.exe", was the same. I then applied to technical support, followed all the instructions, but it did not help. When installing the back, driver version 14-4 WHQL, all problems disappear.
Please help me solve the problem.

 Best regards,
GregoryMik.

P.S. Sorry for the first bad topic. It seems the message is not displayed, because I copied it to encoding different from UTF-8.

Configuration of my PC: GigaByte GA-MA770T-UD3; AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2.8GHz; Kingston DDR3 1666MHz 12Gb; POWERCOLOR Radeon HD 7950 3Gb (AX7950 3GBD5-2DHV5); Windows 8.1 Pro x64 WMC

You must uninstall the current drivers before trying to install any of the beta's.

To install new AMD graphics drivers:

1. IMPORTANT: All Windows Updates should be current, including the 'optional/suggested' updates
2. IMPORTANT: Disable all anti-virus/ad blockers/anti-malware/ anti-anything before trying to install
3. IMPORTANT: Netframework is required and must be the latest version. (from Windows Update)

Create a system restore point before, just in case.

Download the drivers for your computer to the desktop. Follow steps 1-5 ( http://support.amd.com/en-us/download ).
Do not use 'auto-detect and install.

Delete existing drivers from your computer:

In computer control panel select 'uninstall a program'

For computers with Intel processors:
Select AMD install manager and choose 'express uninstall all AMD software'
Including the install manager.

For computers with AMD processors:
Select AMD install manager and 'custom uninstall' the graphics drivers and CCC only.

Reboot

Install the new driver suite.

Reboot

I've done everything you've written. I even tried to do everything by this instruction. The problem in the game "Warface" still remains. In other games, it's okay. When installing the back, driver version 14-4 WHQL, all problems disappear.

If you start an "atifacts" thread, at least include a screenshot or two, please...

Stick with 14.4 whql, wait for the next drivers, contact the developers and send a form to AMD about this issue.

If you get artifacts on other games as well, it would probably suggest that the latest driver pushes your gpu more and shows an overheating/ instability problem that previous drivers didn't show.

Watch your temps, test a little and post back.

Thanks.

Already been done.

Driver 14.6-RC2 beta in other games does not cause problems. Overheating, like, there is none - following these using AIDA64 and RivaTuner Statistics Server.

Yes, RC2 seems stable for me, but not in all games i'm currently playing.

I long to see a time when a gpu driver will be perfect for all games.

Never gonna happen.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll let you know if i find any workaround.
