Hi everybody,

sorry for my bad english...

i have a problem with my sapphire r7 265 2GB.

sometimes idle frequency are wrong -> idle standard 300/150 gpu-vram

now with everything closed -> 450/1400

i've tried many drivers but the issue does not go away.

before this card i have a 5750 and this never happens... frequency were modified for example on youtube video playing

any ideas?

What did Saphire support have to say about it?

Sounds like a multimonitor system or UVD running. Which one? Probably the latter one as you mention youtube. Clocks go up when you play hardware accelerated video, this is intentional. (And is not IDLE frequency...)

it  seems lika a driver stuff, so i wrote here

on boot frequency are ok, on game exit same... sometimes when i heard the fan noise i check and the card is not in idle state

UVD i suppose is stopped if i have nothing open -> task manager 1 /2% with 0.94 mhz clocked cpu and from the ccc card seems is doing nothing

fun thing: yesterday after i wrote down here, i've changed the dvi port and the system seems like i'm running in a multimonitor environment (it is not my configuration obviuosly)

that can explain the 450mhz frequency, but how can i tell windows i'm not a multimonitor user?
