Hello. I've got a problem with the latest driver (14.4) for my HIS 7850 2 GB. Driver is crashing when watching online videos, like on Facebook or YouTube. In games with heavy GPU usage, like BF4, it works ok.

Here are the dumps:

I've been having this same problem, even after an RMA. I've been told it was a power issue, I bought a new power supply and tested it out...it wasnt the cause. I was told it was a faulty RAM issue, I bought two new dual channel RAM sticks....it was'nt the cause. I've damn near replaced the whole rig trying to pinpoint the issue and to this day (it's been 2 months) I cant find the cause. I've tried clean installs of the drivers, older drivers, buying extra cooling equipment for my computer to even under volting. Nothing so far has worked. If you find a solution can u please let me know because im out on a limb here.

I'm seeing this as well on Windows 8.1.1 on the 14.4 drivers.  Watching streaming video from Twit can make the system crash every time.

I've also noticed that when iTunes is running and the monitor shuts off due to inactivity timer, the display may not turn on.

Same issue here...I solved it by disabling hardware acceleration in my browsers.

Adding my own experience. When I played around with 8, I sometimes got TDRs. Mostly related to accelerated browser content, but not strictly to videos. This was a rare case though and no "hard" crashes at all. Under 7 everything is rock stable.

With all due respect, disabling anything is not a solution.

I hope AMD is actively working to make their drivers more stable in Windows 8.1.1.

Furthermore, the issue of not being able to wake up the display when  iTunes is active has become a real drag...

No matter what driver I use the BSOD ocurs. Its def not an overheating issue because i have more than adequate cooling for the card and my computer.

I have the problem only since a driver update from creative, by my Recon 3D.

previously without non-blue screen error:

Recon 3D driver: SBRP_CD_LD_1_01_19 - 0 blue screen

Update SBRP_CD_LD_1_01_26 - Blue screen

again and again until I did the Turbo from the I7 over from the BIOS and I screwed my RAM from 1600 1333 down.

Until now no blue screen

Sorry Bing Translate

German Type:

Ich hab das Problem erst seit einem treiber update von Creative, von meiner Recon 3D.

vorher ohne fehler ohne Bluescreen :

Recon 3D treiber :  SBRP_CD_LD_1_01_19 --- 0 Bluescreen

update SBRP_CD_LD_1_01_26 --- Bluescreen

immer wieder bis ich den Turbo vom I7 übers Bios ausgemacht hab und mein Ram von 1600 auf 1333 Runter geschraubt hab.

Bis jetzt keine Bluescreen mehr
