I'm unsure if my GPU is faulty or not but I've only started experiencing artifacting pretty much in every game that I play. I've checked my temperatures with GPU-Z while I'm in-game but they don't go above 50°C (granted it's quite cold down here in Australia).

I'm currently about to try to downgrade all the way to 13.12 and see if there are any improvements but I'm just wondering if there's anything else I should try. And yes, I have been doing clean installs every version.

EDIT: I've downgraded to 13.12 and the artifacting is still present. I've found that underclocking the Core clock and Memory clock by half reduces the erraticness of the artifacting but it's still present. Any suggestions?

I suggest you read the sticky and post the requested information.  You've not even identified your graphics card.

Sorry I thought I did at the time.

Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition (GV-R787OC-2GD)

Operating System: Windows 7 x64

Catalyst Driver: Currently on 13.12 but have tried 14.4, 14.6 and 14.7

Games: Usually in all Source games (CS:GO, Dota 2) there is lots of artifacting and flickering of textures but I've also tried Payday 2 and the artifacting is much, much less. Tried reducing the anti-aliasing and such but no change occurs.

Motherboard: MSI B85M-E45

CPU: Intel i5-4440 @ 3.10GHz

Underclocking: I have reduced my Memory and Core clocks by half and they've reduced the erraticness of the artifacting though it is still present and quite annoying. I used MSI Afterburner to underclock and reduced the Memory and Core clocks to 600 and 500MHz respectively.
