The question is who do you trust more: yourself with a RAID 1+0 (or just RAID 1) setup, or someone you'll never know with a company you'll never meet hosting your data on their servers where you have absolutely no idea or control over security? If it were me, I'd keep it local, multiple terrabyte drives are cheap, and a fireproof safe is fairly cheap.
