PC users no one can please them

but wait a second .. what about their new driver 310.90 ?! did it fix all this dangerous bugs ?! ( and between you and me at least they tried )

EDIT : wow i just have seen the last comment on 36 page in this link and btw iam totally agree with every word this guy : Krighton said .. SO my point IS AMD is much better than nvidia in ( besides hardwares because my last nvidia card 9400 GT is exploded in my face .. true story .. ) releasing a more stable ( i say again a MORE stable ) Drivers with less issues BUT when NEW issues comes up nvidia team fix it faster than AMD like Assassins creed 3 for example .. i hope i succeed in making my point more clear now

Only problem I've ever had with AMD is the entire 11.x series, for some reason none of them worked correctly after 10.10e until 12.1. But it would be nice if things like nVidia's TWIMTBP program were eliminated, game studios put as much time and effort into their coding and bugfixing before release as they do into their ineffective DRM schemes, and if game studios would work closely with both AMD and nVidia to get the best experience possible right out of the gate...Time to change from this "release now patch later" attitude studios seem to have developed.

I just hate that I have to flash the BIOS to get a voltage change on my cards and even still on some benchmarks (i.e. 3DMark 2011) my GPU and memory freq will still throttle if I flash on too high of a voltage....fricken NVidia!!!  They got us locked down both in the BIOS and within the software driver!!!

Especially if you get a card like mine. Someone was an idiot at the Sapphire factory and made GPU0 the slave and GPU1 the master and don't tell you. It was a pain in the butt when I first got it because there was a new BIOS released within days to allow for manual fan speed control. Thankfully I still had my 4850x2 at the time so I could fix it. Damn I can't wait until I can replace this 5970...Plenty of power but loud as hell and annoying to have to race to set Sapphire Redline to the proper voltages before it crashes due to instability (MSI Afterburner has no VRAM voltage control). Maybe the HD 9000 series will be DirectX 12...

I never got around to flashing my ASUS 5970's.  I never got a functioning pair again after my originals each had the left DVI port die on them......this is how I got the GTX590's (ASUS replacements).....meh

Ready for Microsoft Windows® 8 and DirectX® 11.1 gaming!

Yea, 11.1, I'm talking DirectX 12, for future compatibility.
