You clearly don't need to be overclocking anything. Because if you really wanted to. You would have provided real information. Such as what CPU you are useing. What brand your power supply is. What Video card you useing how much memory what brand it is. You know.. Things that are in like.. my signature.

Secondly you don't overclock *ANYTHING* on a stock amd CPU Cooler.

In all honesty I  wouldn't bother trying to oc that chip.  However, I'd  research a  ton to see  what  voltage is " safe" ( every chip,  even  the  same models are different).  For instance,  I've  not nor will I  attempt  to  push mine past 1.35v.

I wouldn't even bother with that CPU. Generation 1 Phenom, legacy graphics card, and a power supply with four 17 amp 12v rails (which equals 816W), and slow RAM? You won't achieve any meaningful overclock out of it.

You need an aftermarket heatsink and TIM which will cost between $45-60 before you do anything.

The second thing you need to do is search for the many "Overclocking 101" kind of guides out there, as unless you know exactly what you are doing, or even if you do know what you are doing and push things a little to far, you could end up with a bricked system. I know, I've bricked 3 boards over the years.
