The sliders are greyed out, I can only select core 0, how to enable them? Are they tied to some bios setting?

Why would you want to overclock a single core instead of all 8?

Because not every core is the same, you can possibly push a few cores more than the rest, I actually remember when I first installed overdrive the setting was enabled, but now it is not I must have done something I don't remember :/

you are probably on a laptop huh? Its just a locked bios.

Also, to only do one core, you have to uncheck the turbo button. Otherwise it overclocks all cores at the same time which is fine, but be real careful in general i dont trust this software but I dont think I have any other options with my OEM mobo
