Ok, so just yesterday I installed a 6970M in my m15x expecting better performance in games, such as Skyrim.  During the process, something went wrong.  I installed everything correctly, my PC recognizes my new 6900M series card but, when I default graphics for Skyrim, it goes to Medium Quality.  Originally with my old 5730M GPU ( way worse than a 6970M) I was getting defaults of High.  The weird part is that AMD says all of my drivers are up to date.  If so, what else could it be?   Did I damage my card during installation?  And maybe my drivers aren't up to date.  Do I need to uninstall my old 5730M GPU drivers?  Someone please help me.

Every tut I have ever read, including AMD, instructs you to remove all instances of the previous card before installing a new one. Common sense. Try this, download the correct 11.11 driver suite for your mobility driver and save. (Don't use 'automatic find and install').  Download DriverSweeper http://phyxion.net/Driver-Sweeper/Driver-Sweeper/ and save. Computer control panel > uninstall a program > amd install manager..express uninstall including install manager > reboot > run driver sweeper, select amd display...delete all it finds > reboot. Install new 11.11 driver suite. Reboot
