Summary: So AMD Catalyst 11.12 Beta drivers improve performance with 4.4% over 11.11 WHQL and 1% over 11.11a Performance Driver.

I don't really pay attention to performance improvements, as a 10% improvement in a game which gets 40FPS is still just 44fps and 50fps is just 55fps, the most important things are issues being fixed, such as corrupted textures and whatnot. Numbers just look good for the media.

By the way stumped might want to move the decimal point in your signature, 33.33ghz i7?

Looks like I will be sticking with 11.11a if the improvements are that miniscule.

Mostly because I am too lazy to unplug my HDMI cable (computer won't boot with HDMI and DVI plugged in at the same time).

8.93 is much better than 11.11b..but similar performance as 11.11a

however, t is the only one which solve the wrong refresh rate issue in the three drivers, so i have to use it.

to uninstall it might be a bit tricky, people should use windows install cleanup to remove it.
