Why do I have to suffer everytime AMD releases a new catalyst or a performance driver?
Why do I have to do a clean instal to insure everything is okay?
Why do I have to face the blue screen of death in some cases of driver update?
Why doesn't AMD give better support for dual mobility amd graphics for laptop? JUST WHY!? for example the Dual Raedon HD 6990M which I happen to own...I know lots of people with the same configuration who suffer a whole LOT!
Really AMD, WHY!?

The honest answer I can give based in 20 years of computer expieriance..
There are 1000's of hardware and software combinations. Just because it works with one set of hardware does not mean it will work fine with the next set.
So it can work well in a testing enviroment but not hit problems till its rolled into the real world.

Yes I know my friend...
But with increasing reports of errors and crashes with dual raedon mobility and errors during catalyst and driver installation, I guess it is time for AMD to dedicate some effort and time into mobility drives, plus there is a huge incease in desktop replacement laptops!
So Why!

JUST BECAUSE...your laptop manufacturer has chosen NOT to allow AMD to offer updates for you.

The Catalyst Mobility Support has been going for a while now, for those manufacturers who wished to OPT IN to ALLOW AMD to give support for drivers, whereas before the laptop manufacturers locked them out completely ...That's partly why the utility ATI Mobility Modder was made. It's a laptop manufacturer thing, and nothing to do with AMD at all.
Now that they offer the option to have support from AMD, it's up to the manufacturers to allow their machines to be supported. So, the question ( if you actually did any research into the situation with Mobility Drivers, as the information has been around for years and years and years already ) should really be "Really < insert laptop manufacturer here>, WHY ?" ..
Pappy55 is right too, although that's also too hard for about 90% of the people who post here to understand .. they see newer drivers and think "Shiny new, shiny new, they're newer drivers and I absolutely must have them and totally need to have them installed" .. which is wrong in the majority of cases, but people just won't listen as they think that they're missing out on chocolate cookies and milk if they aren't running the latest set of drivers ..

Yes I am aware of all what you said, and I appreciate your patience, as far as I know Alienware doesn't block AMD support! (Correct me if I'm wrong)
For examply, today perfomance catalyst 11.11c was released, the compatible hardwares are ONLY desktop graphics card, HERE IS MY QUESTION...JUST WHY doesn't it support mobility drivers???
Why AMD doesn't release a performance driver ONLY compatible with mobility driver like HD 6xxxM series????

It does.....please look at the first page graphics drivers and software. Follow steps 1-6. Simple.

This is the link that I have for 11.11c...it clearly says "Hardware: no mobility cards"
http://benchmark3d.com/amd-catalyst-11-11c-performance-driver
So give me the link you are talking about, what steps?

Oh yes I know these steps...which by the way don't work for the 11.11 software suite gives me an "incompatibility error" I guess it could be to the "switchable graphics" because in my alienware I can switch between Dual AMD crossfire and inferior Intel card (to save battery life)! PLuse this update is old!
I am talking about the PERFORMANCE DRIVER 11.11C not the actual 11.11 released back in 11/15!
The performance driver 11.11c doesn't support mobility cards, again this is my question, why doesn't it support it! catalyst 11.10 perview1 worked like a charm, but perfomance driver 11.12a/b gave me blue screen of death, I will isntal in 30mins the 11.12c and see if it gives me BSOD

Your mobility cards and my mobility cards are a drop in the bucket compared to desktops thats why. Like it or not...end of story. Please go here and download the b or c mobility drivers and then go to sleep.

OLD???? The 11.11 is the latest official driver. Don't expect too much because of the name Alienware...you do know who owns it don't you?

If you know all these threads....and they have your drivers....why are you posting here? You asked for the drivers...I show them to you (in a alienware forum). You say you are 'aware' of the link and you haven't installed them yet. Sounds screwy to me. If you think amd is listening to you by posting here, you are wrong. Just a waste of time.

Well yes, my only hope was that AMD would be reading this thread! At least I thought I'd give it a shot! even if it fails! Because this issue REALLY frustrates me A WHOLE DAMN LOT!

Apparently, but you need to ***** to your laptop manufacturer, they are the ones that custom design the motherboards and custom design the drivers, AMD can only provide reference drivers which may or may not work correctly. Same reason if your car takes, for example, Perelli model xxxx tires, you can't slap on just any Goodyear or Continental tires and expect them to work.
