I recently upgraded my computer to the following hardware and operating system. I just formated last night, so everything is "brand new" Nothing is overclocked. I updated the drivers to the latest ones on the AMD site.
Now here is my problem. While playing Black Ops, I was able to play a couple of games, things where running great, but when I went to change a class or even exit the game the screen would go to black and not respond. No mouse, nothing. So I had to restart.
After the restart I left it alone for a bit and the screen turned off, which I thought was fine (screen saver) but when I went to move the mouse to wake it up, it would not respond.
I am wondering if this is a common issue with the 6870s or if it is just the drivers that are causing the issue. Any ideas?
