Hello,

 

i've got a big problem with my HD 6970. I've installed the latest amd driver (catalyst 11.11). Whenever i play Call of Duty: MW3 i get freezes,then after a few seconds a black screen and then i can play again for 15 to 30 minutes until it freeze again. This is happening from time to time and only at few Games. Here are the Games where i also have this issue: Batman Arkham City, Afterfall Insanity (freezing every few seconds) and of course Modern Warfare 3. I am almost sure that it's a driver issue cuz Battlefield 3 is working perfect without freezes. I hope AMD will read this cuz this issue is annoying and i paid a lot of money for the card.

Is there someone with the same issue?

AMD Phenom II x6 1090T

Powercolor Radeon HD 6970 PCS+

Well, seeing as this is just a user to user based forum provided by AMD, and NOT their official technical support, then no, they won't ..

If it's just intermittent on a few games out of the hundreds out htere, and the others all work OK, then it's a driver / game issue .. So you'll need to submit a bug report to AMD's driver team and maybe also the game devs too, if you want it looked at / fixed ..
