I have two 5770s that are in crossfire mode. The CCC says it's running crossfire.

What are these CAP files that are frequently discussed and how are they used?

They are optimizations for certain games. In addition, people with crossfire also get some crossfire fixes. If you play games you need them. They are a seperate download from the driver suite. The latest is 11.11 cap3. When a new CAP becomes available....uninstall the older one before installing the new.

Edit: There is also no 'on-off ' control...it recognizes the game. Nothing for you to do

Thank you stumped that was quite a ride you sent me on. This for me was a perfect example of the more you learn the more you find out you don't know and since I came into this not knowing any of this I now know even less. But I'm going to stick with it and not give up .
