Like the topic says I have fps problems in cod1 with my new 4850. I'm having  70-230 fps and laggy game play. My previous card was GF 8800 gts 320mb and I got almost steady 250fps. Is it that ati doesn't support the game or is there some tricks to do with it? And yes for example CSS work really well with 200fps! If some 1 could help me with this I would be realy appreciated. TY!

Edit* And yes some more info. C2D e6850, windows vista 64bit, 2gb DDR2, P5K deluxe,

nvm.. back to Nvidia CU!

 

1st COD runs OK here .. and my cards together are around the equivalent to a single HD485/70 card ..

2 of my friends who own single HD4870s run the game perfectly too, we LAN a few times a month and do retro gaming now and again, and that game runs just fine for us  ..

Anyhows, giving up after a day just because of one nearly a decade old stupid game eh ? Great troubleshooting skills there I see .. maybe nVidiot is for you then ..

.. and close the door on your way out, the cat always escapes to play COD with his buddies and stays out for hours on end .. TIA.
