AMD 12.1 has broken APP support for video transcoding programs?

AMD APP GPU acceleration is not working anymore, I have tried both Arcsoft's MediaConverter 7.5 and Cyberlink's Mediaespresso 6.5...

I have the same problem. Installed the extra codec packages and still nothing. No Video encoder in control centre and no hardware encoding available in programs, tried in Cyberlink power director and Xilisoft Video Converter.

Even tried on a fresh install of Windows 7 64bit to eliminate previous drivers interfering and still no joy.

Reinstalled 11.12 and everything is working again. This needs to be fixed.

 

 

If you want the driver crew to examine any issues or bugs, then they have to be made aware of them .. so report it to them via their Catalyst Crew Feedback pages .. including all relevant software and hardware details and how to replicate the issue ..
