Hello,

I am trying to extend my desktop with a second monitor, but whatever monitor I use, even with even when I use the same model, the screen does not display fully.

It remains an unused area like a black frame around the image, about half inch wide.

Image of course is blurry on the 2nd display. I have reset the monitor, but did not have any luck.

Connections are DVI/DVI (1st, main display) and HDMI/DVI (2nd display).

Anybody knows this issue?

I have the same problem but i have  the Radeon HD 6770, and the problem appears if i use the hdmi, i configurate  two monitors one with DVI and the other with Hdmi, the one with dvi looks ok, but the monitor with hdmi dosen't display fully

i have windows 7 

 

Both of you should go to the main AMD website, and read their KB articles about image scaling / gpu scaling when using a digital connection .. this has been covered a lot of times already and has it's own FAQ answer ..
