Hi, I am having issues with a major performance drop in crysis 2 after I updated to v1.9 with dx11 and hd texture pack. It went from silky smooth to sort of slow motion ish. My system specs are 2x gigabyte 7950's @ 900 mhz (factory overclock), i5 2500k @ 4500mhz, asrock fatality mobo, 2x 120gb ssd's in raid 0, 16 gb 1600 corsair dominator, corsair hx 1050 watt psu. I have also downloaded the latest profiles and drivers that were released a couple days ago.

I am gaming at 1080p with all settings to ultra, hd textures and dx 11 enabled. When I run it in windowed mode the gameplay goes back to silky smooth or when I disable dx11. According to this review: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7950-overclock-crossfire-benchmark,3123-17.html this card is supposed to perform better in dx11 then dx9. I have also heard that windowed mode is supposed to slow the game down in crysis 2. What gives?

Crossfire does not work in windowed mode.  If you run it in a window, you're not using CF at all.

You haven't said what driver version you're using, so guesses as to the nature of your problem are going to be limited.

Thanks for the reply. So if it works great in windowed mode it means the crossfire is to blame? I did say I was using the latest drivers which came out 2 days ago. 12.3 ones to be specific.

Just tested and with crossfire disabled in fullscreen it runs smoother. I'm guessing the drivers have not matured enough for the tahiti.
