PC System Configuration:

Creative Labs PCI Express Sound Blaster Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series

Seagate 1TB 7200 RPM SATA HD x 3; RAID 5

750 W Corsair ATX PS

24x SATA DVD RW Drive x2

I have been running the 12.1v of the CCC Drivers since last December, I guess.  My system is running stable with out any problems.  My main "gaming" function is Flight Sims: MS FS X, Combat FS 2003, OBD's Over Flanders Fields (WWI sim).  My ? is, what critical fixes are in 12.3, and should I even mess with "Happy", if things are running smoothly?  I checked the ATI web site and could not find a list of "Fixes" or critical new software in 12.3.  I also reviewed the older postings here (this is my first post on this site), and could not find the relevant info...So I apologize if this has been answered before.

I update my drivers from the manufacturer's website.. With any piece..

So, check your GPU manufacturer's website, and there you should find the improvements that the new 12.3 has to add..

If isn't something relevant to your system/games/softwares to go beyond, then stay with your actual drivers..

You know what they say: don't touch it if it works fine...

Best regards...

Thanks to all who replied to my request for assistance.  My specialty in IT is in Networking, so I am not an expert on the tech spec's of VC's.  As I stated in my first post, I am ruining a 5850 ATI card on Win7-64.  From what I can tell, most of the 12.3 updates are aimed at Cross-Fire configs  (?)  Since I have the only one VC, and my system is running stable with good graphics, I would be well advised to leave things alone (?)  I apologize for the simplicity of my ?'s, but I honestly appreciate you sharing your knowledge and your time.

Best regards
