Nvidia offers it for quite some time already, and downsampling (OGSSAA) is pretty nice to have since it can be used in cases normal MSAA, Supersampling (SGSSAA), and the mix mode Adaptive-AA can't. In cases MSAA can't be used all AMD offers is MLAA which is the poor mans AA.
I'm really happy that AMD finally offers Supersampling in DX 10 and 11, yet that only works when games support MSAA. Downsampling (OGSSAA) works no matter the game and offers visual quality worlds above MLAA.
