I just tested AMD drivers windows 8 release preview and i have many issues:

1.- Many old games doesn't work, the game appear on black screen (Heroes of might and magic IV, Drakensang,etc).

2.- AMD Driver restart frequently.

3.- The text is bad represented, if you are write text or you make scroll on web page, the text appear blurred.

I tested with AMD 6870 and 5770.

It worked great for me..

In fact, I didn't know about this driver, and installed 12.6 BETA back then, and despite it properly setted up my screen resolution, didn't show me the complete menu on Catalyst, denying me the possibility of scaling one of my screens.

Once I installed, everything worked fine. Complete menu, including the Scaling option..

But, I deleted W8 because I think it sucks. I had to intall audio drivers (X-Fi Xtreme Music card) everytime I boot.. ... But that's another point..

With AMD 12.6 Beta still with problems, with nVidia same problems except blurred text, with intel HD all works fine.

Conclusion, problem with these drivers, solution, next future releases.

Yep.. Remember something: it's like a BETA release...

Not for me, but for all of those who are waiting for, we hope so. For all the hardware/software all people has intalled on their machines..
