I did a search on this site for Drivers on Windows 8 OS (Beta Tester) and could not find anything. So I down loaded Drivers for windows 7 , it seems to be ok but there is nothing for fan control for my video card. I would like to spend more time working on the OS but don`t want the card to over heat. Any sugestions will be welcome. (by the way Windows 8 sucks).isgust;

I tried the download you sugested and I still won`t show the fan settings, it only shows the CPU overdrive. Well I have been working on W-8 for a while and have come to the conclusion that it was not made for desk top operations unless you have a touch screen . so im going to delete W-8 and stay with W-7 for a long time. I think a lot of people will be doing the same. W-8 is the new Windows Me.

I deleted W-8 And now can`t boot into W-7. W-8 was on a seprate drive. So now I have to Reinstall W-7. I am glad I backed up all of my important files on a different drive. What a mess .

I had the exact same problem, except I had it on a seperate partition. Never did figure that out. Thank God for Acronis.

Yeah, well, it's a preview release, so maybe some things won't work..

I control my fan speeds with MSI AB, so didn't realize if that works on my system or not.. I'll check that out when get home..

I installed those drivers because W8 scaled one screen less than the other using W7 drivers.. Didn't knew about that release..

Once installed, all the options/menu on Catalyst came back.. But never checked tha out.. Really..

And about the dual boot system, I think the way to do is boot into W7, and edit the MSConfig file to only one system to boot, by deleting the W8 line..

I'll try that later too, because W8 sucks so far, and I'm tired of having no sound on my computer.. Maybe when the final version is out, I'll give it a try again.. But I'm not that excited..

Best regards..

Personally I like Windows 8 on my desktop and have only 1 problem and that is no fan control on my Radeon 4870x2. It is running at 77 degrees. With the stock controls the fans run at 20% and at 50% I can get the temps down to 40 degrees._____________________________________________________Gigabyte GA-X58-UD5, Intel Core i7 940, 18G 1600 Ram, Diamond ATI Radeon 4870x2, 5 HDDs (3.7TB), 2 DVD, Cooler Master HAF932 ATX Case, OCZ MOD X 750W PSU

I tried to use MSI AfterBurner on my Win8 machine and got an error that said "Failed to initialize the driver wrapper" so I did some research and came up with RivaTuner from http://www.guru3d.com/category/rivatuner/ and it works great with Windows 8. My GPU temps went from 88 to 58 in a matter of minutes!
