I am trying to update my Catalyst driver from 12.1 to 12.4. I uninstalled through the Catalyst manager and installed the 12.4 driver. I started up BF3 to test it, but the game prompted that I was using driver 10.12, went to CCC and sure enough it is saying that 10.12 is installed. I have installed and reinstalled the catalyst drivers over 10 times now, uninstalled the display drivers through windows and also ran the DriverSweeper. But its still saying version 10.12... I don't know what to do now and need help

First read the "PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING" if you want any help. I hope this is not a laptop, Win XP, AGP card, etc. you are having problems with.

Then disable 'automatically check for updates' in CCC.
