so.. I recently placed in a SSD on my computer.. threw windows 7 on it
, and in BIOS enabled AHCI which is common for SSD..

and yipeeee ready to play games
except everytime I try to play a game for a few seconds
it quits the game...
tells me this:
"Windows must now restart because the DCOM server process launcher service terminated unexpectedly?"

and reboots..

now looking in the eventlog I found this:
The server {E10F6C3A-F1AE-4ADC-AA9D-2FE65525666E} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

googling that I saw it have everything to do with AMD driver.. but I have had no solution offered.

I have a ATI RADEON HD6970 2GB card..
I went on the AMD website.. and downloaded the win7 x64 driver for the HD69xx series and installed along with Catalyst Control Center and everything else.. like I have done a billion times

it just... doesn't work now..

any ideas?

With that amount of non-information ? Nope, none at all, just the usual myriad of things which can go wrong with a system.

A quick GOOGLE of that exact error message throws up lots of devices which can give same error message too. Check GOOGLE and also visit the MicroSoft site for more info on that error message.
