Hi, where can I download the Catalyst 12.6 which detect my AMD C-50 APU / AMD RADEON HD 6200 (6250 - Wrestler)?
Look:
Catalyst 11.9 have support:
Line 311: "%AMD9804.1%" = ati2mtag_Wrestler, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9804
Catalyst 11.11 Have Support.
CL128242.inf, Line 311: "%AMD9804.1%" = ati2mtag_Wrestler, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9804
Catalyst 11.12 Have Support.
CL129965.inf, Line 328: "%AMD9804.1%" = ati2mtag_Wrestler, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9804
Catalyst 12.1 Have Support.
CL132104.inf, Line 333: "%AMD9804.1%" = ati2mtag_Wrestler, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9804
Catalyst 12.2 Have Support.
CL134393.inf, Line 337: "%AMD9804.1%" = ati2mtag_Wrestler, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9804
Catalyst 12.4 Have Support.
CL137813.inf, Line 341: "%AMD9804.1%" = ati2mtag_Wrestler, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9804
But the latest Catalyst (At the moment - 12.6) doesn't have any DEV ID. for my Video Card.
I've downloaded the Catalyst 12.6 twice; from http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-32.aspx, and using the Web Form from http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx.
Both methods led me to the same Catalyst 12.6 Installer (12-6_vista_win7_32_dd_ccc.exe).
I know that I can tweak the .inf driver file installation to make something like a overclocking; in that way windows will install the driver thinking that my GPU it's another GPU:
Catalyst 12.6 -
CL141402.inf, Line 163: "%AMD68F9.32%" = ati2mtag_EvergreenC, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_68F9&SUBSYS_174B6250
CL141402.inf, Line 3172: AMD68F9.32 = "ATI Radeon HD 6250"
(The name seems to "AMD RADEON HD 6250" or "AMD RADEON HD 6200", but I don't know if it is more or less powerfull that mine)
And ADD the following line to make that windows detect my GPU like a ATI RADEON HD 6250:
"%AMD68F9.32%" = ati2mtag_EvergreenC, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9804
I'm not sure if this could break my Video Card... but I want have the latest driver release - and I can't find any document where AMD/ATI say that Leave the Support for Any / Specific Card!
