Personally I like the idea, I LOVE Seagate hard drives, still have one from 1995 (only about 600mb!) cranking away after thousands of hours of use. I love the idea of them potentially staying separate as well, as in "OCZ, a wholly owned subsidiary of Seagate Technologies", as Seagate is a profitable company with great products, and OCZ is a profitable company with great products, so Seagate could just use them as a blue chip acquisition to boost their books rather than tell them how to run their business.
