Hi All,Why we cannot install Catalyst drivers on our DELL Precision workstations anymore? Is there any workaround to allow it?Thanks,Alberto

Who knows, given you didn't even tell us the models of the workstations. If I had to guess, which is all I can do with absolutely no information given on your part, I would say they were so old they lapsed into legacy coverage.

Ah sorry, I thought it was a common issue. We have six Win7 DELL Precision machines (T3500 & 7500) with ATI FirePro display adapters and in all of them during the Catalyst install fail to make the hardware switch and therefore it does not succeed.We managed to install 12.4 and 12.6 only once after formatting the machine and installing WinXP SP3.

My system BSOD'd on the hardware switch also.  After numerous tries, a bit of ignorance on my part, after a BSOD rebooting into VGA mode, 12.6 installed right from there.  Formatting/reinstalling W7 on six Dells!  What no backup imaging application?  I had that option but used a system restore point half dozen or more times.

We test many scenarios and didn't work. Even the reboot in VGA mode with no luck.We require the latest Catalyst for graphics development purpose.

Have you tried 1. uninstall/install on each individual machine? 2. Looked at the " optional downloads". 3. You are trying to install the drivers for XP32 are you not?
