RPG's are my favorite games, period. But the best one for me, personally, would be Morrowind. For some reason I've enjoyed it more than Oblivion, or just about any other RPG I've played through.

Morrowind aside, I'm also a huge fan of the Baldur's Gate series, and Knights of the Old Republic.

I would suggest everyone on this thread to check out the Fallout 3 site. It has been called Oblivion with weapons. It's set to release on Fall 08 tho

The entire PC Fallout series was won so many awards. The theme is a heavy RPG in a dreary post apocalyptic wasteland with gray humor, loads of creative weapon, armor, stuff and great FPS action sections. You have unlimited choices in the plot and you are faced with difficult moral decisions

I have to agree with Anthoni Fallout 3 is looking awesome, it is on my wish list of games, and when they have a date and sale price at EB I will go pre-order it.

Planescape: Torment, Fallout 1 & 2, Baldur's gate 1 & 2 + expansion and The witcher. Torment was the best as I never got bored playing it.

Gothic 1 remains my all-time fav. Currently I'm playing The Witcher and its pretty good, one of the best.

For me, not counting Everquest 2 since MMO's have their own section on the board..this is it..well, the ones I thought of just now.

Morrowind, Baldur's Gate series, Knights of the Old Republic series is up there too, Oblivion although Morrowind IMO is much better, Fallout series also. If anyone ever played the old Wizardry games, either the OLD original ones on the Apple II or the still old but bit more recent ones for the PC, those were great. Too early to tell since I just finished it, but suspect The Witcher will end up one I think of in the same way.
