Hi all,

I'm trying to get an eyefinity setup going across 3 LCD TVs using a Sapphire HD 7770 card.  They're all the same model (40" Toshiba 40PB200EM).

I'm using all three outputs from the card to connect to the TVs in the following way:

DVI --> PC input (via DVI-to-VGA adapter)

HDMI --> HDMI

DisplayPort --> HDMI (via DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter)

I can get an extended desktop on any two of the TVs at a given time, but am unable to have it display across all three at the same time.

Can anyone please help?

This happens when the displayport adapter is passive, you need an active adapter. And why one of the TV's is using VGA? I would use cheap DVI-HDMI adapter, a HDMI-HDMI cable and a quality ACTIVE DisplayPort - DVI adapter and a second cheap DVI-HDMI adapter on it. DP-DVI adapters are more available and you can use them for monitor eyefinity later should you get bored of TV's.

Hi zipsi, I tried out the setup as you suggested, but seem to be having the same problem - although it can recognize that I have three displays, I can only create an extended desktop over any two of them at a given time.

Is there any specific setting I need to enable to get a three-display desktop going?

As zipsi stated, you NEED and ACTIVE DisplayPort Adapter.

You can't. You need an "Eyefinity 6" Edition card (or one that has more than 6 display outputs).

I'm using an Active DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter, plus a DVI-to-HDMI adapter, just as zipsi recommended.

What gave you the impression that I wasn't?
